‘Behind every strong man is an even stronger woman’

Compared to some of the other women we have featured in our ‘women we want’ category some of you may be surprised to see the first lady Michelle Obama gracing these pages. As surprising as it may sound we’re not just about the lady humps. Whilst a woman’s desirability  is highly centered on her physical appearance there are certainly other factors that contributes to a womans beauty (see we’re not as shallow as you think ladies!).

Like many others I was a stern follower of  last years US presidential campaign and whilst Barack Obama’s performance was undoubtedly  captivating, I was equally as impressed with his wife who slowly but surely crept into the limelight.  A combination of brains and beauty, I think she can be best described as the kind of woman each mum wants their son to marry!

Every man wants a woman that can hold her own and compliment his movement and boy can this woman hold her own. Graduating from both Princeton University and Harvard Law School she went on to work for international Law firm Sidley Austin and holds a career that boasts top accomplishments.

In being thrust into the spotlight she has taken like a duck to water and taken it all in her stride. Essence listed her in the 25 most inspiring women and Vanity Fair put her in their 10 best dressed people.

Definitely a positive role model for all girls and women. So for those of you chicks that wanna bag a president take a leaf outta her book!
