7 Great Things About The Summer.
We aren’t even halfway through spring yet but the word on everyone’s lips is ’summer’. Everywhere I go someone can’t help but mention how great their summer is going to be! If I had a pound for every time someone said those words to me I’d probably have 23.
But we’re in spring, so why not have a great spring? Just a thought.
However, there’s just something about the summer and I don’t know what it is. Maybe the sun? All I know is summer produces epic moments in my life.
This is my list of 7 great things about the summer:
1. FLESH.
‘When the sun comes out, the ladies guns come out’ (I just made that up). Summer AKA the time where women try and get away with baring as much as possible. Of course this also has its down sides, summer is also responsible for producing some of the most ghastly sights. If you got it, flaunt it, if you don’t then DON’T.
2. BBQ
Now who doesn’t like a good old BBQ. For some reason BBQ season is the only time of the year where men and especially dad’s are willing to cook. Have you ever noticed how protective men get over the barbecue. Funny times.

4. WIMBLEDON.
One of the few times I pay attention to the tennis calendar is of course when it comes home. Wimbledon is pure entertainment for a number of reasons; there’s nothing funnier than watching the upper class watch tennis, you see some incredible scenes. There are the outfits of the female players and then of course there’s the tennis itself. In recent years we have seen some the most entertaining matches played and hopefully this year will be no different.
5. LONG DAYS, SHORT NIGHTS.
If winter mornings are of the devil then summer mornings are surely a blessing. Its just that much easier to get out of bed when you look out the window, see the sun shining and hear the birds chirping. However this shit be confusing. The other day I was in the middle of some work thinking it was two o’clock, little did I know it was 7PM (The shock on my face!!!). Note to self – buy watch.
6. MOOD.
I need some of what the sun has because this little thing called sunshine has the ability to get the girls going crazy. What woman is not happy in the summer? And when the girls are happy the men are happy.
7. ICE CREAM and ICE POLES.
‘Ice Ice baby’ (sorry I had to). Ice cream is a year round thing for me but in the summer I bring out the ice poles and suck away (no homo).
